On 15-16 July 2022, the TUTAKA Festival of the Awakened took place for the second time in the Boryk glade near Grodek, to show support for each other, to get to know our culture and each other better. Above all, however, to send a clear signal to our friends in Belarus that we are with them in our thoughts and actions.
For the festival, we have invited first and foremost Belarusian artists, not only musicians, but also people from the theatre and visual arts. Especially those who have become symbols of change or who are working solely to support this change.
Žyvie Biełaruś! Žyvie viečna i niachaj žyvie volna!
The first day of the festival, Friday, was a day of meetings and workshops. The Tamak Zone hosted lessons in the Belarusian language, an action of solidarity with political prisoners in Belarus: "Birds of Freedom" with Alexandra Konofalska, a poetry evening from Mova Nanova. And in the Tutaka zone, an evening dance in the forest! PROSTA TAŃCUJ - Sw@da b2b Magdala - Dj Set.
Whereas on Saturday, the Tamaka zone was already bustling with life from as early as midday:
The Tutaka Zone, meanwhile, opened with a discussion studio:
- Press presentation of the project "One hour from here to the east"
- Belarusian emigration after 2020
- Belarusian culture across borders
- War in Ukraine. What about Belarus?
And on the main stage performed:

A complete novelty, on the other hand, was the project "Listen to the movement", which is dance theatre on the main festival stage!
